Drupalcon
DrupalCon Chicago - not long to go!
Can't believe it's finally here. Where the hell did February go? It seemed to zip by in the blink of an eye, but here I am waiting to board at Dublin airport on my way to DrupalCon Chicago!
This will be my 2nd North American DrupalCon (never actually made it to San Fran because of one extremely annoying volcano!) and it looks like it will be the biggest so far. Three whole days crammed full of sessions, along with CiviCon on the Monday and a code sprint day on the Friday - not sure I'll actually find the time to do any sight-seeing. Having been to Chicago before, I'm not actually that disappointed. I think I'd much rather be hanging out with other Drupalistas that I only see once or twice a year!
Drupalcon Copenhagen
I haven't had time to blog in a while. It's been a busy summer, what with trying to finish my masters and then breaking my ankle and ending up in hospital. However, the masters is now finally submitted and the cast is off. Whohoo! Yet, somehow in the middle of all of that, I found time to go to Drupalcon Copenhagen, and I'm so glad I do.
DrupalCon SF session proposal: Coder Module: Easily Port Modules to Drupal 7
Time is flying by. There is now only 7 weeks to go to DrupalCon San Francisco! I'm really looking forward to it I have to admit. Although I've visited the US a fair bit, I've never been to the west coast, not to mind say San Francisco. Dermot is coming over with me this time, and we're planning on taking an extra week to travel around and do some sightseeing. We're also going to visit a good friend of mine, Aimee, in LA, and then travel back up to Sacremento to visit other friends.
Drupalcon DC was Awesome!
Some of the highlights of Drupalcon DC for me were:
Drupalcon Szeged Rocked!
Drupalcon Szeged was absolutely fantastic! If you haven't been to a Drupalcon yet I would totally recommend it. One of the best things was I could finally put faces to the nicks who I've encountered over the past two years on IRC and drupal.org. There were also some really fantastic presentations - my only problem there were too many which I wanted to see! Thankfully, it was really well organised and all of the main presentations are now available to watch on http://szeged2008.drupalcon.org/program/sessions
